About the Opportunity

SnapHop Demo is a progressive local government organisation dedicated to serving the community and enhancing the quality of life for residents and visitors. As part of our commitment, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Business Systems Analyst.

 

The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for supporting the effective implementation, development and management of SnapHop's Enterprise Resourcing Planning (ERP) solution, TechnologyOne OneCouncil, and supporting systems and software products, including identifying, recommending, implementing and evaluating system and process improvements.

Essential Criteria

To be successful in this position you will need to have:

  • Tertiary qualification/s in Business Analytics, Information Technology, Project Management or related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in the operation, support and administration of software systems and applications, including business system design and development, in a complex customer service-focused organisation
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in project management, organisational change and continuous improvement projects/initiatives
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and consultation skills, including the ability to develop and leverage relationships with a wide range of stakeholders to influence meaningful organisational change.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills, including a proven ability to set priorities, plan and organise workloads, and balance competing priorities to achieve specific objectives in the most efficient way possible, within the resources available.
  • Excellent standard of IT literacy and advanced computer and software skills, including proficiency in the Microsoft 365 suite of applications.
  • Current and maintained NSW Driver’s Licence.
  • You must have the right to live and work in Australia

Desirable Criteria

  • Project Management certification
  • Knowledge and experience in TechnologyOne Council Local Government business solution.
  • Knowledge of the role, functions and responsibilities of Local Government.

Benefits

The appointment will be in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award and SnapHop Demo's policies and conditions of employment.

 

The role has been evaluated as being Grade 13 of Council's salary structure, and offers a starting salary of $78,785 (plus 11 per cent superannuation), with commencing salary to be determined upon the qualifications, skills and experience of the successful candidate.
